My little sister was having seizures. A lot of them. And nobody could tell us why.
My parents did everything right — doctors, specialists, test after test, thousands of dollars chasing answers that never came. Meanwhile my mom's own health was unraveling: thyroid problems, hormone issues, symptoms no one could explain. Our family was being taken apart, and the whole time the answer was inside my little sister's bedroom wall.
Hidden mold.
It wasn't even our first time. I grew up in a Mesa house with a damp basement — eczema, nosebleeds, infection after infection that nobody ever thought to connect to the home. We just figured we were an unlucky family.
When my parents finally hired a mold detection dog, I thought it was the smartest thing I'd ever seen. Then the handler — who also happened to sell remediation — put blue tape on the wall and left. No report. No evidence. Just: tear it open yourself, or pay me to.
My sister got better once the mold came out. But to this day, my mom avoids the rooms that were "remediated." When nobody gives you proof, you never stop wondering if it's really gone.

Wes founded K9 Mold after hidden mold nearly destroyed his own family's health — twice. He's a NORMI-certified mold assessor, a licensed asbestos sampler, and one of only two InstaScope operators in all of Arizona.
Every inspection runs on one rule: proof over pressure. Dolly finds it, the technology confirms it, and you get it all in writing. And because K9 Mold never sells remediation, the findings are the findings — nothing more, nothing less.
